INTRODUCTORY ASSIGNMENT Acct 101 – Summer 2009 Name                  Mark Landis                                                                                                               What do you want to do after you graduate? Been there, done that.  After getting my Master’s at the University of Nebraska (go Huskers!), I went into private accounting,  which I’m sure we’ll talk about as the class goes on.  After a few years in the “real world”, I enrolled at Missouri (go Tigers!) to get  my Ph.D.  I went back to get a PhD specifically to be a college professor (that’s all you really can do with a PhD in accounting),  mostly because academia fits my geeky nature and I like to teach.  Now I teach systems and managerial accounting, which are my  two favorite areas of accounting.

What students are saying

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
