1 The field of consulting is an industry regarding associations that give pro encouraging to the relationship in different spaces to keep up the business deliberately. Consultant word got from French word 00 called "consultare" that signifies “discussion” that shows the field of consulting is a field of talking about specific issues or redesigns in business and give them strategies and 00 associations as per different levelled requirements of the firm. Furthermore, various consulting organizations are working in the market to give opinions from the experts to various fields of master publicizing, HR, bookkeeping and finance, the safety and the security of 00 the system, the board systems, lawful issues and different zones. Moreover, a consultant is a specialist proficient with amazing information on the specific zone where a client needs assistance with providing better guidance for business after assessment of different conditions concerning specific issue happened in a connection and inside time, degree and cost factors. ( Williams & Woodward, 2004). There are two types of consultant, internal consultant and external consultant. The concept negotiation and culture plays an important role in consultancy. Consultants have to face various types of issues while negotiation across the countries due to cultural differences. In this essay, the consulting aspect Negotiation and culture and related issues, literature review, my own discussion will be discussed in the following paragraphs. Issues Negotiation plays an important role in consultancy. There are different ways it is connected to a consultant. A consultant needs to be a good negotiator for the success of the firm it is working for. A consultant needs to sharpen its skills to negotiate in a way to benefit the firm and deal should be something helpful for the firm to climb the ladder of success. A consultant can help a firm to negotiate that way it could get long term benefits. A negotiation skill of a consultant not only helps in the success of the firm it leads to good customer services as well. In
2 this way, negotiation is crucial in consultancy ( Brett, 2000) . However, there can be a plethora of issues for consultants to negotiate when it comes to Negotiation and culture in consultancy. The issues are described as following: Personal style A consultant can face difficulties when there is a huge difference between their culture and the company’s culture they are dealing with. The differences can be of speaking, interacting with others, dressing, or using titles. culture strongly influences the private fashion of negotiators. It has been decided, for instance, that Germans have an extra formal style than Americans. A negotiator with a formal attitude insists on calling counterparts via the manner in their titles, avoids personal 00 anecdotes, and avoid questions touching on the private or circle of relative’s life of participants of the other negotiating 00 team.
