Unformatted text preview: • Basic Research and Developing General Knowledge on a Topic Tutorials 1. Start by reading the introduction. After reading, click on the "Review" button. The button then will read "reviewed" and it will then allow you to click on the arrows that appear on the left side of the screen. Follow this process until you've completed each tutorial. Watching the tutorials should take 8-10 minutes total as each one is short and to the point. 2. Then apply the knowledge used in the tutorials to find both a topic /claim (if you still need one) and ONE article that supports your claim. 3. Please print off the article (save it to your harddrive or USB drive first), read it, annotate it, and bring it with you to class on Wednesday, September 7th. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
