TEXTBOOK : Physical Chemistry, 9 th ed. Peter Atkins and Julio de Paula Oxford University Press. 2010 2. : Policies are based on students being mature individuals and developing a sense of responsibility for their education. Students are expected to work all assigned problems. Students are expected to attend each lecture session, and absences should be justified. While there is no point penalty for absences, experience has shown a definite correlation between poor attendance and low grades. It is strongly suggested that the students attend every lecture session of this course. Once the lecture starts, students are expected to stay until the professor dismisses the class . In addition, students are expected to remain quiet except when addressing questions to the professor. Cell phones must be turned off. Please refer to OSU’s Students’ Rights and Responsibilities publication for more information.
