Anabela dos Ramos April 5, 2010 Love and Work Instructor: Carey Dimmitt Topic: Grieving/Loss Though what I’m about to write about has nothing to do with a reading that I’ve personally been reading for class, I feel as if taking the time to talk about grieving is worth it, especially today. Grieving has so many different meanings and it was a big topic today during our workshop for Love and Work. It was also a big situation today due to a death or a student who happened to live in my building- Coolidge Hall. Grievance just happened to surround me all around today. Let’s start with how during the workshop it was hard for me to talk about grieving. It was hard because I lost my father 3 years ago and I am still grieving. I don’t think it will ever stop. The feelings I have sometimes bring restless and sleepless nights. It’s so difficult and hard to cope with because I had no proper closure. Since my father died in another country, it was much harder to believe that he was actually gone. I wanted to ask my peers how I could
