VERY IMPORTANT! VERY IMPORTANT! Course Description: MC 2003 - Media Style and Structure - is the basic required grammar / writing course for all School of Media and Strategic Communications students. MC 2003 is a prerequisite for all required upper division courses in the School of Media and Strategic Communications. You will NOT be allowed to move forward in any required upper division course in the School of Media and Strategic Communications until you successfully complete this course. To successfully complete this course, you must: 1) Earn a grade of C or higher in the class 2) Earn a grade of C or higher on the Language Proficiency Exam (LPE) You are expected to keep up with assigned readings, complete out-of-class assignments on deadline, attend all lectures and labs, study diligently for tests and participate intelligently in class discussions.
