Bartol and Bartol (2012) stated that there has been evidence which shows that genetics have a major role in the development of psychopathy. One of the dysfunctions is the hemispheres of the brain and how both hemisphere t communicates with each other especially with emotions. Bartol and Bartol (2012) stated that the right hemisphere is important to the understanding as well as the communication of the different emotions while the left hemisphere has a part in self-inhibiting processes such as spontaneous as well as impulsive. When the two hemispheres communicate, and they create a balance of contribution in order for the person to have a normal judgment and self- control. There is also an amygdala dysfunction because the amygdala is responsible for processing fear, anger as well as disgust.
