4 4 4 Properties of Psychrometric Chart 1. Dry bulb temperature ( T db ) - air temperature measured by an ordinary thermometer with no water on its bulb. Unit: o C. 2. Absolute humidity ( h a ) - ‘moisture content’ of DA, i.e. kg H 2 O(v)/kg DA. Unit: kg/kg DA 3. Relative humidity ( h r ) – The measure of how saturated the air is with water vapor. It is measured as how much of water vapor is present in the air relative to the saturated condition. h r = p H2O /p* H2O (T) x 100% Curves that concave to the upper left which are corresponding to h r = 10% … 90%.
