A39406290 HST 306 War Option I. Introduction A. World War II 1. Thesis: World War II had a profound effect both negative and positive on the American way of life and how America was viewed. 2. I am going to go into brief detail of the causes of the war and some aspects of the war. 3. In this paragraph, it is going to touch on the life of young people in the war pre- and post-war, that the war affected important dimensions of American life and how society and politics were conducted, and various aspects of the war. 4. Time-frame of the war II. Body A. Quality of American Life 1. For young American men old enough for the draft their lives were turned upside down during wartime they went from their normal everyday lives to having guns be fired at them constantly. Women during this time went from housewives to the breadwinners because various women’s husbands were off fighting for America. B. Dimensions of American Life
