TV or not TV The beginning of the film had some animation which was interesting. Three is a middlle shot of alley in the kitchen unclogging the sink. The film is in black and white but the lighting is bright. There was a panning shot of the man who ralph as he walked into his room, and also a another panning shot when he was walking back out to where ally is. There is non-diegetic sound of the audience laughing. There is a medium shot as ally is asking Ralph what he wants to drink. There was another panning shot that followed ally to the sink and back to ralkph. Ralph said he wasn’t gonna get her a tv because he is waiting for 3d television. When ralph is pacing ack and furth, there is a panning shot of him. He was saying how they have financial security, because they don’t have to pay for a bill every month for a television or a washing machine. They showed how women were stuck at home and were the main cause for incorporating the television in their households. There was a fade out and non-diegetic sound of music playing as it went into the next scene when ralph purchased the television for his wife. Then there was music played at a high pitch. There is a medium-close shot of ralphs neighbor as he watches TV in Ralph’s house. They showed how they used antenas to make the television clearer. Then the camera zoomed in
