Comm 190 film Notes: 9/7/11 The film quality is similar, both black and white, but its more clear. The changes position, which helps the viewer see the film from the 1 st person, second person and third person point of views. The camera moves back and forth to follow the characters as they walk. The men are both smoking cigarettes both dressed in business suites. The story line is more obvious. Attention was brought to a telephone, and a clock. Music is still used to set the stage and show the emotion of the people in the film. Filming of a lot of people, old cars, and dead bodies. Photos in the background, showing the interests of the characters. Detectives drinking. Filming of stories in newspapers. Women wearing black to imply that she was either going, or came back from her husband’s funeral. The implementation of mystery’s in story line. A lot of close up shots to show the emotions of the characters. Man enters with a cane and with a pinky ring on his finger.
