Dear Common Area User: Attached is the Common Area Application that your organization has requested. Please read the information carefully and return the APPLICATION FOR PERMIT TO USE COMMON AREA , SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION FORM, and your CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE to the College Mall management office a minimum of 30 DAYS PRIOR to the date of requested use. For those groups that will be holding fundraising activities at College Mall we ask that $25.00 donation be made to the Simon Youth Foundation. This donation will be used to fund the awarding of a college scholarship to one area high school senior each year. Please note that the Common Area Application is not approved until you have been contacted by the mall management office with final approval. We suggest that you do not advertise an event or activity until final approval has been given by the office. COLLEGE MALL RULES AND INFORMATION FOR USE OF COMMON AREA MOVE-IN AND MOVE-OUT Monday – Saturday: 7:00 – 9:45 a.m. and 9:15 – 11:00 p.m. Sunday: 11:00 – 11:45 a.m. and 6:15 – 8:00 p.m. Individual move-in and move-out times must be arranged one week prior to move-in date. Any exceptions must be approved by mall management. Electrical requirements must be known at this time. Large items or displays will require prior approval. User must furnish all equipment and tools required for moving equipment in and setting up displays. The mall will not lend out equipment or tools and will not provide any manpower for your move-in or move-out. Steel wheeled carts are prohibited. Wheels must be plastic or rubber. Dragging of boxes, tables or merchandise is prohibited. All items must be wheeled or carried into mall set up area. CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE College Mall requires that a valid Certificate of Insurance meeting the attached guidelines be submitted prior to approval of the Common Area Application being granted. For insurance requirements, see item #5 under “Rules and Regulations.” Contact the Mall Office if your organization or group does not have the minimum insurance requirements. MALL HOURS Mall hours are from 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., Monday – Saturday and Sunday 12:00 – 6:00 p.m. Your booth must be manned during all hours that the mall is open for business, except when approved by mall management. BOOTH SET-UP Tables: We supply your tables and chairs; however, we ask that you make a goodwill donation of $25.00 toward the Simon Youth Foundation. During peak times of the mall, such as Christmas, Easter, etc., organizations are asked to make a donation of $25.00 a day for table rental. All tables must be skirted, on all four sides, to the floor, and this will also be provided by the mall.
