Gregory Sicard Benchmarks-(G) Fahrenheit 451 - (Part 2) A) How do Guy Montag’s actions fit into themes presented by these quotes? Were his actions justified? Why or Why not? B) Is it ever OK to break a law? Use evidence from your readings to support your answer. Two key themes that are portrayed in Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury are those of breaking laws believed to be unjust and fighting for ones personal rights and beliefs. One of them consist of Guy Montags actions and whether or not they fit the theme presented by the quotes if his actions were justified of not. The other key point that I will discuss is if I believe that it is ever okay to break the law. I believe that the actions of Guy Montag fit the theme presented because he felt that his job was not morally right according to all of the things that he witnessed.
