Richard Tiller July 28, 2011 Chapter 47 University 101 Mrs. English A Bad Apology In chapter 47 Randy described two bad apologies and how if you give a bad one it is almost not worth giving it. The two examples he used were asking for an apology and then trying to emotional slave someone. From his perspective doing these is completely wrong. In my opinion it is also wrong because if you give a half hearted apology it is almost not worth giving one. I have given numerous half hearted or “bad apologies” over the years for numerous reasons but after reading this I realize I need to put more effort into apologies. Whenever I gave a bad apology it always turned out bad. I used to have to apology to my brother and sister all the time. I always gave a bad one but it would turn out bad because I would end up apologizing again until it sounded sincere. From reading Randy’s chapter on this I see how different I should have acted.
