Richard tiller Dr. Disasa January 18, 2010 Education 202 A great influence While growing up I had many of relatives and friends. Though not all of them were the greatest influence on me I had one person that I could always look up to. That person was my grandmother on my dad’s side of the family. When I carefully examine my values, personality, intellect, skills, and character I conclude that my compassion, competiveness, and dependableness live in me through following my grandma examples in life. The first thing that my grandma instilled in me was to be compassionate through everything I did. She did this by example. When our family was going through hard times she was there to step right in and offer her condolences and even offered to provide us with anything we needed from food to rides somewhere. Also from the chats that we have had she said, “that it is best to show compassion because that makes you a better person and that will land you a good job in the future.” In conclusion, through these real life examples and talking to her about
