Without keyboarding skills, applications portions of the class may take longer. COURSE DESCRIPTION:   This course is an introduction to the operational organization of the computer, and provides an orientation to  the terminology and use of computers in today’s society. This course will introduce current computer  applications and logic. It will serve as the first course to be taken by any computer science major or may  satisfy a computer science requirement for another discipline.  Approx . lecture 2-3 hours; laboratory varied.    Applications are selected which will be useful to students now in college, and in their future   pursuits.   Page 1
