STUDENT PROJECT CONFIRMATION/AGREEMENT Student: Hing Potter Agency: BSU High School Equivalency Program (HEP) Both student and agency must sign this "Confirmation/Agreement" at the first meeting or orientation. Turn in to the instructor on the date specified on the syllabus. Course: Foundations of Leadership (Damoni Wright) Students will be divided into groups and will plan and coordinate a community service project that will benefit a non-profit organization in the community. Students must complete 15 hours of service at the chosen non-profit. Service-Learning Goal : Students are introduced to basic leadership theory, historical paradigms, and concepts. Emphasis will be placed on personal leadership development through the exploration of one’s leadership identity, values, and ethics; understanding of others through multicultural appreciation; and fostering active citizenship through community service-learning.
