Hing Potter Comm 278 – PR 9/12/2011 Shadow Paper Max Corbet –Assistant Athletic Director, Media Relations Working to keep Boise State University Athletics in a positive light is a 24/7 job for Max Corbet. If he’s not on the road with a team managing public relations issues, he’s in his office responding to emails or following up on another project. In his 23 rd year at Boise State, Corbet has been the go to guy to keep the public informed. Corbet explains that his job is anything but typical. “It’s never the same because it’s always changing.” He appreciates the constant changes of working with the various coaching staffs and helping them to connect with the media and the public. However, trying to make a routine schedule will never happen. If anything, he is more likely to have a typical week. After every football game, he comes back to his office on a Sunday, follows up on game related issues for several hours before he has to return on Monday to prep and administer Coach Chris Peterson’s media day. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays are set aside for student-athlete
