The Paris Peace Conference and the  Treaty of Versailles. January 1919, the Big Four led the Conference (27 total leaders  were there)- Wilson, Vittorio Orlando of Italy, David Lloyd George  of GB, and Georges Clemenceau of France. . The fact that Wilson himself going was huge and controversial… Wilson, the idealist, was very popular. He called for his 14 points,  which he had presented to Congress in Jan of 1918…They called  for things like: Readjusting the boundaries in Europe and creating new nations Several points dealt with conducting international relations…. The last point created the League of Nations…. These four would continue off and on from January to May 1919
