Making a Title Slide Open Photoshop and confirm that the back- ground color is black and the foreground color is white. Click on the three parts of this icon to get it right. Now go to File>New… and set up the window like this: Make the size 12 by 9 inches, 72 ppi, and Back- ground Color. Click OK and you will produce a black “photo” in the same shape as the default in Soundslides. Next, pick up the text tool. Confirm that the Foreground Color is white. In the palette at the top, select 36 pt. Helvetica. Now click-drag a text box and type into it. You can adjust your size, weight, etc. later, but 36 pt. Helvetica looks pretty good for most uses. You can move the type box using the Move tool and you can create additional type boxes. Understand that each new text box is placed onto a new Layer. To go back to one, you must use the Layers Palette (from the Window menu). Highlight the layer you want to work on. When you are done, be sure to Save As... a JPEG (not as a Photo- shop document).

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
