Unformatted text preview: Overview. WordPress is a Content Management System that allows users to put content on a Web page without writing HTML code. We will use it to put our bios, self-portraits, slideshows, and videos on the class website. You are authorized to create content only for the pages under your name in the Gallery. Creating posts You will use WordPress to add and delete content from the pages under your control and they will be displayed under your name on this page. The WordPress interface used to create and edit pages is accessed by adding wp-admin/ to the class URL: http://journalism.indiana.edu/studentwork/kelly_ j210_fall2010/wp-admin/ You will be prompted for your IU username and pass- phrase and the resulting interface will load. Notice that you already have several pages and posts. The Schools administrator built some of those pages and posts and your classmates built the others. You can only edit those where you are the au- thor. Click on Posts to see whats already on the class website. on the class website....
