In class, we solved the potential barrier step problem leaving out several mathematical steps. Solve this problem thoroughly without skipping any steps using the approach we listed and outlined in class. Include calculating T , R , < 2 | 2 >, and 1 that includes the phase change upon reflection. You will have to prove that -B/A ~ e i 2 .. 2.
