Page 1 of 2 KIN 3502: Tests and Measurement in Kinesiology Lab One: Shuttle Run and Standing Long Jump Special Instructions: Be dressed for participation in physical activity . Objectives: 1) To collect data to be used in future analyses. Each student will complete two tests of physical abilities: the shuttle run and the standing long jump. 2. To learn how to be accurate and reliable testers. Students will serve as testers for these tests. Standing long jump: Text, page 254 Everyone will complete three trials and record them below. Make sure you also record your scores on the master list for the class (on Google Docs). Shuttle run: Text, page 369 Everyone will complete one trial for the shuttle run, but three timers will time the trial. Timers one and two will use stop watches, and timer three should use a wrist watch timer or chronograph. KEEP THIS SHEET AS A RECORD OF YOUR SCORES. YOU WILL NEED YOUR SCORES FOR FUTURE ASSIGNMENTS. WHEN YOU DO YOUR LAB ASSIGNMENT, RECORD YOUR SCORES ON THE GOOGLE
