COOPERATIVE LEARNING PROJECT The Cooperative Learning Project is a program which provides a supportive, intimate, and personalized learning environment for students during their first two semesters at CCP. Students in CLP have interests in all of the disciplines offered by the College. The Project serves day students who attend the main campus only. Students are placed into CLP based on their reading and writing scores on the College placement test. When these students enter the College, they test slightly below the college average in their reading and writing scores. Also eligible for CLP are students who have successfully completed the course requirements for Act Now and CAP. These students are recommended to CLP by their English instructors, academic advisors, or program coordinators. The philosophy of CLP affords a smoother transition for students who have been in Act Now and CAP. The Cooperative Learning Project provides these students with the support
