DESIGN PROJECT MEMO TO: PROFESSOR MAGLEBY AND KATHERINE WINTERS FROM: THE BASSOON BROTHERS SUBJECT: DESIGN PROJECT UPDATE DATE: 10/18/2011 THE DREAM POPPER UPDATE As we began the construction process, we discovered several key issues that will prove to be  difficult during the fabricating of this product.  For one, we decided to change the materials used  to create a better and more efficient product.  Also, we will alter the frame of the product to  increase strength and cost effectiveness.  We decided also to switch the hinge of the lever arm to  allow it to swing.  Last, we had not thought ahead to have a mechanism to hold the balloon in  place and secure for the needle to puncture it consistently.   We have devised solutions for these problems to enable our product to function properly.  To  correct our problem with the materials of the product, we have decided to make the product out  of plastic products instead of wood.  This will ensure that the base will not puncture the balloon

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
