The Movie! This was written right after watching the movie- The movie seemed very boring to me. It seemed like one of those independent films. To me, movies are entertainment, with everything there for you, so you don’t have to think as much as with a book. I realize that people might try and make “thought inducing” literature through films, but I really don’t think that that is its place. Movies are for brainless entertainment, and books and art are to be thought about. To me a film like this just gives too much to make it a personal experience, no matter how drawn out the dialogue or walking scenes are. It seemed like the creators were trying to cram down your throat how important different parts are, and to me that’s kind of tasteless. All this goes without mentioning what was, in my opinion, a gross misrepresentation of the United States military. A note about this though, I realize that this was more of a Heart of Darkness

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
