Max Haubold Extra Credit 8 I think I exhibit many of the different coping strategies mentioned in the book. Many times, I  am one to bottle things up and lash out at people. This is something I have been trying to change  however. I guess the best way to describe how I handle stress is by going through the sections and  giving examples of when I have used the method.  The first method is using humor as a stress reducer. This means joking about a very stressful  situation. Last year, my mom tried to kill herself. This was very stressful. While talking to a friend  about suicide, I joked about it and he became very defensive. I explained my situation, and we found  that we had very different ways of handling it.  The second technique I use is releasing pent-up emotions. An example of this happens regularly.  Many people hang out in my room, because I always have food, seating, and a big TV. This is cool,

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
