Here are the events giving the facts for this case: Date Event A. 30 years ago Properties, Inc., a land development firm , contracted with a surveying consulting firm, Collins Associates Inc , to plat a series of subdivisions for an up-scale suburban development called Kilarney Lakes. B. 28 years ago Collins prepared a plat titled "Kilarney Lakes Unit 3" and recorded the plat in the public records. The plat was computed by COGO, and the plat was drawn by computer.
