Use Publisher to Create a Class Newsletter Begin Your Assignment Perform background research first to learn a little bit more about Newsletters. Read about the purpose of Classroom Newsletters: http://www.ncrel.org/sdrs/areas/issues/envrnmnt/famncomm/pa4lk10-5.htm Review some examples at the following Web site: http://www.cvs.k12.mi.us/rcummins/news.htm Next, research information for your own Newsletter on the Internet. Copy the appropriate information for your topic from the Internet into an MS Word document for use later as you create your Newsletter. Save graphics from the Internet for your Newsletter (recall that you save graphics on the Internet by right-clicking on the graphic and choosing Save Picture As ). Make sure you save your pictures in a folder on your flash drive or somewhere else that you can access later. Create stories for your Newsletter Begin your project by brainstorming titles for your newsletter. Think of a catchy, creative title that will draw the reader in. Next, you'll need to think about the stories that you will include in your newsletter.
