Civic Scholars The Graham Center is looking for students who would like to conduct research to improve services for families who are homeless and to decrease the number of homeless families. The Florida Department of Children and Families reports that nearly 60,000 Floridians are homeless, giving Florida the designation of having the third largest population of persons who are homeless in the nation. As a Graham Civic Scholar, you will assess an assigned Florida county’s response to the question of families and homelessness. Upon satisfactory completion of all project requirements, each student will receive a $750 award.
