"eBook" is short for electronic book, a digital version of a print book that offers convenience, offline access, and unique capabilities, such as individual chapter navigation for quick reference (word search), book marking, highlighting, and notation functions. 2. What software do I need? To read the eBook, you will need the latest version of Adobe Reader 7.0 software, which is a free download at: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html 3. What are Adobe Reader 7.0 System Requirements? a. Windows i. Intel Pentium processor ii. Microsoft Windows 2000 with Service Pack 2, Windows XP Professional or Home Edition, or Windows XP Tablet PC Edition iii. Up to 90MB of available hard-disk space iv. Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher b. Macintosh i. PowerPC G3 processor ii. Mac OS X v.10.2.8 or 10.3 iii. Up to 35MB of RAM iv. Up to 125MB of available hard-disk space 4. How do I get my eBook? a. Log on to the desktop and enter the classroom. b. Click on the Doc Sharing tab at the top of the page. c.
