Although you may be a very good driver, each time you get behind the wheel, you’re exposing yourself to others who are driving while talking on mobile phones, eating lunch, speeding, or—worst of all—driving while intoxicated. State Farm® has been in the business of providing excellent auto insurance coverage at an affordable price since 1922. Responding to our customers' needs keeps us the leader in auto insurance. In most states, if you want to drive your own vehicle, you must be insured. Car insurance coverage is designed to help financially cover potential auto- related damages, loss or injuries. It helps protect you, your passengers, your fellow drivers, pedestrians, other people's property and your vehicle. It can also help protect you in the event of an automobile- related lawsuit. Insurers have found that people who are responsible in other areas of life are also better drivers. For years, they’ve given good-student discounts to students who have a B average or better and to new drivers who successfully complete a driver education course. Married couples often get lower rates than singles. Many insurers give better rates to nonsmokers, too. As with homeowner’s insurance, credit reporting information is also a factor: The worse your credit rating, the higher your premium. Home In general, according to chapter 8 homeowner’s insurance provides coverage for both property losses and liability losses, At Liberty Mutual homeowners policy protects your home and other structures on your property—like a garage or tool shed—against loss from many things, including, but not limited to: Smoke, fire or lightning, Windstorm, hail or weight of ice, Your homeowner’s insurance premium is affected by characteristics of your property.
