Miller PSYC 1100 Meeting and Contact Information Sections 001L014L: Lecture: Tuesday & Thursday, 8:00 to 8:50 in SCHN-55 Laboratory: WGC (Whetten Graduate Center) Room 300B (time by section) Dr. David B. Millers Office Hours: Place: BOUS 108 Times: Monday, 8:30 to 9:30, and Tuesday, 9:30 to 10:30 The above times for office hours are subject to change. My correct office hours will be announced on the first day of class and will also be posted on my office door. On rare occasions, conflicts with meetings may cause me to cancel office hours; such cancellations will be announced in class and/or a sign will be posted on my door. No appointments are needed during office hours; they are on a first-come/first-served basis. SPECIAL APPOINTMENTS: If you cannot see me during office hours, I usually have a few special appointment times each week (that vary from week to week) that you can sign up for on UConns Advapp system. Go to the following link and follow the instructions: http://advapp.uconn.edu. If no times are listed, that means theyve all been taken. I usually post a few available times for each week over the weekend prior to that week. Tests and Final Grade Determination First Mid-Term: Tuesday, September 27 28% of total grade Second Mid-Term: Tuesday, November 1 28% of total grade Final Exam Tuesday, December 13 (tentative) 28% of total grade Laboratory Ongoing 16% of total grade Experimental Participation September 5December 7 Extra credit added to laboratory grade Statement on Religious Holidays: The days on which the exams are scheduled do not conflict with any religious holidays for students with substantial representation on this campus. If you foresee a conflict between the date of an exam and a religious holiday that you observe, it is your responsibility to let Dr. Miller know about such a conflict before the end of the 2 nd week of classes.
