A CADEMIC H ONESTY C ODE O UR C OMMITMENT Anderson School of Management faculty, staff and students commit to values of trust, honesty, integrity, and accountability. We will not tolerate academic dishonesty. R ATIONALE We recognize that academic dishonesty is a corrosive force in any university community. Apathy or acquiescence in the presence of academic dishonesty is not a neutral act, as it undermines the bonds of trust and integrity among members of the Anderson community, defrauds those who may eventually depend on our knowledge and integrity, and devalues the Anderson culture. A PPLICABILITY Persons employed at Anderson in any capacity and all students enrolled in any program or course at Anderson are required to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the Anderson Academic Honesty Code. Each is responsible to acquaint him or herself with it. The Code shall be published on the Anderson website. Letters informing students of their admission to Anderson, appointment letters to faculty and staff, and all academic syllabi shall include the “Our Commitment” language from our Anderson Academic Honesty Code and provide a link to the complete published Code. A CADEMIC D ISHONESTY D EFINED ACADEMIC DISHONESTY is any conduct which involves deception or fraud in academic work or which enables a person to obtain an unfair advantage in academic matters.
