The management style of Acme is a “basic structure” which is developed by Technological Products because it is an efficient way for high volume manufacture to print circuits and assemble them quickly and efficiently. Also Acme managers say they should have “more latitude in their jobs” and not a “one-man band” which one manager describes. They all want to know more information about what is going on in Acme so they are in the same page as everyone else. However, the management style of Omega is that there is no organization charts and everyone should be working together. Jim Rauls, Omega President says if workers want to communicate with each other, they can just come and talk things over therefore there is no memos involved. Like Acme, managers in Omega also complained that too much time is wasted “filling in” people who were not there. However, most of the time important decisions are made by managers. Both Acme
