1. My mentor outside of the college is my high school English teacher. I have been visiting her occasionally when we have winter and spring break. She is the only teacher, I feel comfortable talking about my academic growth. She taught me never to give up when I am facing a challenge in my life. She was always there to help me afterschool to check my paper and gives me advices. 2. Besides the readings I am doing for my coursework, I have been readings other books as well. So far I have read The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne and Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett. I like reading historical fiction, plays, and some kind of comedy involve in the novel. I usually read during the weekends because I am free most of the time. 3. I went to Guggenheim Museum and Metropolitan Museum of Art for my Art class. I had to pick an artwork in the Museum and write a paper analyzing the artwork. First, I went to both of the Museums to look at the artwork I was interested in. There were a lot of artworks to choose, but I was mostly interested with Pablo Picasso painting. So I picked “Two Doves with Wings Spread” by Pablo Picasso at the Guggenheim Museum. 4.
