Racism has played a large part in America history ever since America was discovered by Christopher Columbus. According to the documentary we have seen in class and the lectures, we know that race was invented by human to classify people physical appearances such as their skin color, hair texture, or eyes color. People like Hitler have used these characteristics to distinguish superior and inferior group of people. Throughout human history, society has created a racial structure that determined which groups are better than the others. The notion that skin or eyes color determines person social status, power, and constitutional rights still exist today in America. Society has adopted this idea that people who have lighter skin are superior then people who have darker skin. In ancient societies, people did not divide themselves according to physical appearances, but separated themselves among their religion, status, class, and language....
