WEB 2.0 2 Web 2.0 Web 2.0 is the next generation of Web. Web 2.0 a loose collection of information technologies and applications (Rainer & Turban, 2009). Web 2.0 is also referred to as Live Web or Next Web. This is a website where interaction has a large role. With Web 2.0 users actively take part in communication. Some common applications are blogs or blogging, wikis, video, and podcasting. Some common categories are social (MySpace), aggregators (Bloglines), mashups Web 2.0 has many advantages. With web 2.0 users can communicate for gaining social response, or feedback, to find the correct information, and create social circles of interest. Web 2.0 has some disadvantages such as false information can be entered on information sites such as Wikipedia.
