Bringing acentralized change to the regions which are handling hundreds of items and were used todecentralized decision making will definitely need more time and clear understanding. Thedecision was made within 3 weeks after she join the organization, where the short period of timewas not sufficient enough to fully understand the organization’s culture and practices. Apart frommaking decision in a very short time, Albanese made the decision without consulting the personwho are going to implement the change in the organization. The change was also introduced at ainappropriate time, where regions will need more independency and prefer (and used to) makedecisions individually within their own regions especially during peak periods.
