geotechnical reports from which the original information was obtained. Some of these parameters are presented in the next sections. Additional Required Information Two parameters that were not found in the PILEUF database were the maximum displacement and the maximum energy transfer to the pile. They were essential to obtain the Paikowsky and Sakai capacities (See Chapter 3). Both, the maximum energy transfer to the pile and the maximum displacement were obtained from the CAPWAP output printout in the geotechnical reports. Criteria for New Entries As a general criterion, new entries in the database should be within the State of Florida. Pile cases from outside the State of Florida were not considered in this study. Because the evaluation of the dynamic methods was performed in correlation to the Davisson capacity, new entries in the database should have the load test carried to the point in which Davisson capacity could be determined. Other information required will depend of the methods to be evaluated. The more information obtained for a particular
