Another way to look at this finding is by changing the coefficient of variance of the resistance. If the coefficient of variance of the resistance is altered by 10 %, the resulting variation in J c is on average 33.67 %. These results have proved that the pile static resistance is not very sensitive to the Case damping coefficient. The scattered pattern in the back calculated J c on Figure 7-4 reflects the latter fact.
