The organization I selected for my Session Long Project is the United States Field Artillery Association (USFAA), located on Fort Sill, Oklahoma. The USFAA is a non-profit organization that provides sales of individual and corporate memberships and products to support funding of five separate programs and four special projects. Besides the sales of memberships to this organization, they sell many products which fosters and preserves the spirit, traditions and solidarity of the Field Artillery. The product or service I selected for this module is the USFAA Membership category, the largest generator of revenues, which is a service provided in which members are entitled to the following benefits: 1. An annual subscription to the Artillery Journal, 2. Scholarship eligibility, 3. Invitations to all Association activities, and 4. 15% discount on all Redleg Outpost Gift Shop items. Looking at three associated activities associated as drivers are processing membership orders, database entries, and bulk shipping of memberships entitlements. In the period from January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2010, revenue of $79,700 was generated from 3188 new memberships and renewal of current memberships. Below is the income statement provided: Income Statement for Memberships only For the year ended 12-31-10
