1. What is Leadership? In the book it says that leadership is the process of guiding individuals, groups,  and entire organizations in establishing goals and sustaining action to support  goals. But leadership is also about motivating individuals to do better an  organization, that they are giving their all. It is also about knowing how to  successfully communicate with your employees. It’s knowing how to attempt to  convince your followers to meet specific goals or broad organizational outcomes.   2. Is there a difference between Leadership and Management? Is so, what are  the differences? Again, leadership is defined the process of guiding individuals, groups, and entire  organizations in establishing goals and sustaining action to support groups.  Management is defined by the responsibilities, specifically assigned by the  organization, to direct and evaluate the work of others. So when one is a leader  you are trying to guide them in the right direction, in a sense you are motivating  them to do better. When you are a manager you delegate what they should do. It’s like a quote I heard; "Managers do things right, while leaders do the right   thing."   3. What is the link (if any) between good communication and good  leadership? I believe that there is a huge link between good communication and good  leadership because in order to have leadership, you have to have  communication. The foundation of good leadership is the communication you  have with your employees. As the book states; “Leadership takes place through  communication. Leaders communicate about needed change, translate intentions  into reality, propose new strategies, and help sustain action to support decisions.” Having good leadership and management communication is part of the sense  making activities of the organization.
