Mohammed Makda Concept Essay – Trust 1 st Draft “To be trusted is a greater compliment than being loved.” Trust, a phenomenon in the English vocabulary has hundreds of thousands of definitions. In fact, the definition will vary from person-to-person. For me trust is a special bond which unites two people emotionally. There are many people whom you love but there a very few whom you trust. It can be any one – father, mother, sister, brother, wife, friend, etc. Trust, in other terms could be defined as faith. If we trust someone, we have faith in them. Trust, hence is the universal phenomenon of a good relationship and also is one of the main components of a healthy relation. “Trust is the way of opening to the heart”, says Cansu Karaca, a sophomore at UB. It is a human psychology that if a person does not trust someone, he/she can never have a good relationship with that person irrespective of the kind of relation the person shares. But nature categorizes the level of trust depending on the relation you share. There are some relationships which are natural and on which one does not have control over such as child-parent, student-teacher, employer-boss, etc, and there are relationships which man makes during his lifetime and has control over them such as heterosexual/homosexual relation, student- mentor, devotee-god, etc.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
