CHEN 3010 Applied Data Analysis Fall 2004 Names: __________________________ __________________________ Workshop #22 Hypothesis Testing and Confidence Intervals For Straight-line Linear Regression The purpose of this workshop is to conduct hypothesis testing and compute the confidence intervals on the parameters for straight-line linear regression. Although you will usually do this in a more automated fashion, it is important to know what is behind the “canned” programs that make the calculations for you.
