CHAPTER FIVE SUMMARY, FINDINGS, CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION This chapter presents the summary of the discussion in the previous chapters, the findings, the conclusion and the recommendations of the study at Summary This study aims to provide or produce a long-lasting candle that is cheaper than the commercial candles, eco-friendly, and more convenient to use. This also seeks to determine its effects to the environment, particularly to the house where it will be used, and especially its possible effects to the people. Specifically, this experiment seeks to answer the following questions: 1. How used cooking oil will affect the performance of a candle when combined with the paraffin wax? 2. What amount of used oil will be added to the paraffin wax to produce a long-lasting candle? a. 80% paraffin – 20% used cooking oil and other ingredients b. 70% paraffin – 30% used cooking oil and other ingredients c. 50% paraffin – 50% used cooking oil and other ingredients 3. Is there a significant difference between the 100% pure paraffin wax and the experimental candle mixed with used cooking oil? This study employed the True – Experimental method of research in order to obtain adequate presentation of data.
