Linda Martinez Sociology Reaction Paper 4 25 April 2011 Interview questions/answers Clara 1. From the list above, what type of family did you grow up in? Single Parent Family (Mother) 2. How do you define family? I believe family is that of people who care for one another. They stick with one another through thick and thin no matter what they do or what occurs. If a family were to be mad at each other than it would not be a family. 3. What is an advantage to growing up in the family you did? It helps people to learn to take care of themselves. In general how does society react to your family (e.g. is society supportive or critical. For example are laws supportive or not, are friends/family supportive/critical, etc.)? Can you give specific examples? I believe that society is supportive because it is very common for single parent families. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
