Slide 1: Media can cause positive/ negative effects based on their image If the media didn’t cover it then the world wouldn’t know and it would be harder for the public to form a personal brand on that person The media effects how the person is portrayed; they show what they want or what they deem necessary. Slide 2: Positive/ Negative pictures How tiger looked before in the public eye and how the media portrayed him. His personal brand before was a family man, a pure professional, and a winner. “Tamer Tiger” now tries to change his public perception for his personal branding. His media downfall (after his affairs came out) not only affected his image but also affected the way he acted on the golf course. He must change the public’s opinion. Obama may not have been the most qualified candidate, but his likeability (celebrity like status) is what raised him to the top.
