CH110/120 Midterm 1 Review General Information Midterm 1 will take place on Friday, Oct. 15, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm Section A: BA201 Section B: BA101 (last names A-K) Section B: BA102 (last names L-Z) Bring the following: pens , pencil s, and a calculator . Note: You will need a pencil to fill in the answer cards for the multiple choice questions. A periodic table and information sheet with necessary data and formulas will be provided with the exam. The midterm will cover material from all of Chapters 1 and 2. The format will include multiple choice (approximately 20 at 1 mark each) and two problems worth approximately 5 marks each. (Part marks will be assigned for problems, so show your work clearly and legibly.) The best way to study is to do practice problems and review the examples we have done in class (suggested problems from the book, plus others that reflect what we have covered in lecture).
