The state workers compensation plans vary from state to state as each state has the ability to administer compensation to individuals. One of the state workers compensation plan pays for medical expenses related to a work related injury while the other plan pays lost wages to the employee while he or she is unable to work. Both the Federal plans and the state plans are necessary to ensure the employer maintains a safe work environment for employees. Before the plans were available employees would pursue legal assistance to get compensated for injuries and now employers are required to have workers compensation to cover injuries that result from accidents and death on the job....
